More from our first full day in Beijing.

The view from our hotel room:

The Ancient Observatory:

Cool garbage can:

Ming City Wall Park & Watch Tower:

There in also an art museum inside the Watch Tower:

I got to use my first squatty potty today in China. That's always a treat! But it was pretty clean for a squatty potty. Actually as a chick it's kind of nice not having to touch anything. The worse part I think is if they stink which unfortunately they usually do as you don't flush the toilet paper (which they never have by the way) down the toilet you put it in the garbage can instead.
Camden borrowing the street sweeper's broom. It's made of bamboo by the way.
Another highlight of the day was using Beijing's subway system. I do love venturing to a new city and trying to figure the lay of the land and how to get around. Besides, it's a great way to get a taste of how the real people live. It seemed like a well run system and I was impressed!

Time for bed..Night Night!
